Our Story
Congratulations on your new child! Chin Jung Mom Doulas understand how precious and important a new child is. We would love to accompany your family throughout this journey by providing professional and nurturing postpartum support services. Our doulas have been serving families all over the United States for 14 years.
Prior to owning this company, I was a speech pathologist, psychologist, and a counselor in South Korea. For 25 years, I owned eight operating institutes there that focused on child psychology and pediatric care. I then opened the Korean Chin Jung Mom Doula Agency, which I operated for 17 years. After moving to the United States, I continued with my passion for postpartum care services. I wanted to bring traditional Korean style postpartum care to the United States.
We provide comprehensive newborn care that includes diaper changes, bathing, bottle feeding, burping, and other needs. Our doulas also ensure child safety and development. Doulas help foster the connection between baby and mom by sharing knowledge and expertise.
We provide physical care for mothers that includes breast & abdomen massage, sitz baths, foot soaks, and hot & cold therapy. Postpartum doulas also provide emotional support and have vast knowledge with breastfeeding. In addition to this, nutritious meals and light cleaning services are provided. This includes simple tidying up of the kitchen & newborn's room.

Other important pricing information:
- If you would like to reserve a mix of both live-in and commuting doula services, the reservation fee for a live-in caregiver will apply.
- With any extensions, the reservation fee is $200 for any style doula, per week. If you need an extension for any time less than a week, you will be charged a reservation fee of a full week. Meaning, a one day service extension will cost a reservation fee of $200.
- The reservation fee is a separate amount from the doula’s salary that is paid separately to the company. The doula’s salary is paid directly to them.

Working Hours
Commuting Doula: 5-day work weeks from Monday-Friday. Working hours are from 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM with a 1-hour break.
Live-In Doula: 5-day work weeks from Monday-Friday. Working hours are from Monday at 9:00 AM – Friday of that week at 5:00 PM. Live-In doulas also provide exceptional newborn care through the nighttime hours.
Doula Qualifications
We ensure our doulas have passed background checks, keep vaccinations for COVID-19, TDAP, and the Flu up to date, and have citizenship or green card status. We also provide professional theory and hands-on education to each of our doulas to improve knowledge regarding infant and mother care.
Additionally, each employee must undergo re-training, participate in new education courses, and learn from case studies. I know my employees on a personal level, which means I understand what their home life, mental health, and personality is. We continue to strive to bring you the best postpartum services and appreciate your business.
